Valheim 1.0 launched on 9 September 2026, the same day Iron Gate opened the Deep North. This Links Hub is a fan-made index of official and high-signal community destinations so you can find patch notes, support forms, and co-op help without clicking impersonator pages.

Iron Gate AB develops the game. Coffee Stain Publishing ships it. The canonical homepage is valheim.com. Buy or update the client from Steam app 892970 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. The 1.0 build also ships on Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2, with full crossplay and 1–10 players in online co-op. The store price is $29.99; anyone who already owned Early Access updated for free. A typical install is about 4.3 GiB.

Treat random handles that promise keys, flametal giveaways, or “redeem codes” as spam. Valheim does not use gift-code redemption. If you want the F5 developer console, use the console commands hub on a local world — that page is not a promo-code list.

Discord, Reddit, and support

The official Discord is where Iron Gate posts patch notes, public-test details, and the rules for #suggestions. Bring bug reports in English when you can, with platform, version, and steps to reproduce. Voice chat is not built into Valheim; most crews sit in Discord while they sail.

r/valheim is the largest public forum for longhouse screenshots, seed talk, and boss questions. Moderators there are volunteers, not studio staff. Do not paste admin passwords or world files into a public thread.

When something is actually broken, go to Valheim Support: bug reports, feedback, known issues, and translation errors. For launch-specific questions — new worlds, mods, price, platforms, achievements — read the Valheim 1.0 FAQ first. Iron Gate does not host your worlds and cannot restore a deleted character. Dedicated servers are player-run; see the players hub if you are standing up one.

How to tell a link is official

Trust valheim.com, the Steam 892970 store page, discord.com/invite/valheim, reddit.com/r/valheim, @Valheimgame, and valheimgame.bsky.social. Support tickets live on the official support section, not in unsolicited DMs. Nobody from Iron Gate will ask for your .fwl world file in a random server. If a site advertises Valheim cosmetic redeem codes, close it. Use console commands only when you intend to cheat on a world you host.

Launch news usually lands in this order: valheim.com news, Steam, Discord, then Reddit. Waiting that extra hour beats installing a fake patcher.
